Memories....

These was on my friend Jana's blog and it sounded like fun so here it is

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. This is quite fun. I hope everyone I KNOW will participate!! So start thinking hard!

Drake

My little Drake is so cute. According to all of are friends and our ward for that matter, Drake looks like a little man, and just like his dad. Dan thinks it's great when people say 'he looks just like his dad...he's so cute.' Dan's sister gave us these sweet Nikes for Drake and I just realized the other day that they are almost too small so he wears them almost every day. Included is a picture of Drake in his Nikes.

Also, I just went out and bought one of those Bumbo chairs for Drake to sit in. He loves it by the way. I totally recommend them. Someone had an blow out so I changed his diaper and had to run upstairs to grab some new clothes and put him in his bumbo. When I came back down he was hanging over the side and just chatting away. It was so adorable that I took a picture for all to see.

3 Months

Drake is now 3 months old!! We went to Kiddie Kandids and got some super cute pictures! He was so good, he was just so happy and smiley. I just hope that all our picture sessions go this well.

I am so impressed with what a great person he is. At first I was really nervous cuz he was crying alot, but after a few weeks we figured each other out and he has become such a good baby. He just hangs out and is so mellow. We love him so much! We are truly blessed parents.

Vegas Style

This past week Drake and I headed down to SG with Sarah and her kids. It is always nice to get to go 'home' and enjoy. I got to show off Drake to my Friends Tami and Marcie when we went out to dinner, and wouldn't you believe for the second time in a row that I have gone out to dinner with my Friends they messed up my order again and I got my meal for free. That Saturday we went to Las Vegas to attend my cousins wedding. Not what you are thinking...it was not a 'Chapel of Love' type wedding it was a Temple wedding. It was a great party at the dinner that night; there was a Mariachi band, great food, and of course dancing. We had a lot of fun with family we don't get to see very often, and they got to see my cute boy. It was GREAT!

2 Years and Still Going Strong

Yesterday, June 10th, Dan and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. Since we have little Drake now and his mom is not quite ready to leave him with a babysitter he went to his first baseball game. We went to Sonic and then to the Salt Lake Bees game. Dan and I are big fans and we love to sit in the grass outfield and try to get home run balls. Last night it was a little cold and possibly rain so we sat in the seats. It was a lot of fun. Drake slept through most of the game, but he never cried so he must have enjoyed the game. I can't believe it has been two years already. Two years doesn't sound like a long time, but with everything that has happened in the 2 years it feels like forever.

We are loving our little boy and everyday is more amazing than the day before. He is truly a joy and a blessing in our lives. Here's to the next two years.

More Pictures

Visit to St George

We went to St George this weekend for my sister's son's baptism. It was Drake's first visit to St George. Drake even got to go visit his great grandparents in Central. Since all of my siblings were in town for the baptism we decided to get family pictures done. They were bright and early Sat morning at 7:30am. Drake was still sleepy so luckily he slept through most of it unlike a couple of crying cousins. After pictures we went to the pool; this too was a Drake first. This was also a wonderful weekend for smiling. Drake has been smiling, but it's been taking lots of coaxing. Drake was all smiles this weekend and cooing. Needless to say it was a GREAT weekend. We look forward to our next visit.
